I know it's been a while, and I apologize! Life just seems to get away from me anymore.
On October 23rd we closed on the house up in Warsaw!!

Of course I couldn't leave without taking pictures so that I would remember the first house Joe and I ever lived in. :)
Our Master bedroom

The freshly painted living room

The Kitchen

The LOVELY..(Ahem) Bathroom

The fantastic Boarder in the bathroom...haha

The spare bedroom

Man I'm going to miss that house. Even though I got VERY frustrated with it when it didn't sell (Seriously? A year and a half...had to of been the that fantastic bathroom) but there were so many memories made there.
Moving on..
I love Fall...mainly because of Halloween!! EEeks..It has come and gone already. Booo.
Here is the crafts room that I was in charge of for our Halloween program.

The next Monday, the park manager received an email from the director of Indianapolis parks sharing a great letter written by one of the parents:
Hi, Stuart—
Since I think people tend to focus on the negative, I thought I’d shoot you a quick note to tell you about two great experiences I had at Broad Ripple Park last week. The first was the basket class I attended on Wednesday evening with my mom and sister-in-law. The teacher was great (even allowing us to stay a bit late to finish), and we had a good time weaving our baskets. Then on Friday night, Mark and I took Patrick and his friend, Bobby Pearsey (son of Jennifer Pearsey), to the Halloween Hunt. The crafts were great, and the boys also enjoyed the storyteller. Of course, the big event was the outside hunt using their flashlights, which they really enjoyed. It was a packed hour and a half of programming, and the boys came home with all kinds of loot. Great value for $10 per child!
It’s clear to me from the interactions with the staff at Broad Ripple that these are people who are committed to what they are doing there, and they are doing a lot with very little. I’m looking forward to my next basket class on November 18 and the Easter Hunt in the spring.
Thanks for all you and the staff do to bring us these kinds of programs.
OOOOHHHH Man that letter made me sooooo happy! :) I love my job...anyways...back to the program. :)
The sun FINALLY came out after it rained All day.

Some of the prizes we gave out...Looks like a zoo in here!

We had some pumpkins outside as decorations....Hmmm dumb Squirrel!

Lastly, we decided to go to Detroit for Halloween. :) Oh we love visiting Rooda...especially his mid party naps!

And then 50 minutes later...this is him:

And lastly my pumpkin I carved!! :)

Until next time...
MJ
