Sorry Bird

With today being election day, I had the day off Paid! WOO HOO. So...what did I do with my free day?? Larisa and I went to Ikea! They built a new one outside of Cincinnati, so we decided to head out and check it out. Last time I was at one was just about 2 years ago. On the way there, we hit a bird. Just a small black one, but Larisa and I had a moment of silence for this bird. I need to get my car washed now. That may be a treat I do tomorrow after work.

As far as houses, a week ago Joe, Heidi and myself went through two houses in Broad Ripple. Both were too small for the money. We won't be looking in Broad Ripple too much. Next one was a decent looking house (in the pictures) but when we walked in it smelled like stale smoke. Dirty dishes were in the sink, dirty towels all over the bath rooms, bed rooms not cleaned...then we hear OH MY GOD come from Joe. Heidi and I go over to one of the bed rooms to figure out what is going on, and on the floor were two dildos. Just out in the open. Next, Heidi found Porn laying by the computer with some lube. My first thought was UGh...put that stuff away. Second thought in my head was that they were renters who don't want to move. Heidi agreed with me that they were probably renters and that she was definitely letting the Realtor know what was going on. Next house was a bank owned one on Mass Ave. It was a LARGE house that we think someone tried to flip, but wasn't able to. Unfortunately it smelled like dead animal and there was WAY too much left to do. SO in the end, that round of houses produced nothing.


Wedding plans are coming along swimmingly. Plans are to get invitations started so there isn't a big rush at the end to get them all completed. I can't wait to get them finished! That will be a huge weight off my shoulders. Just a little over 4 months is left. :) Wish us luck!!
