Nothing New

Joe and I are still sitting back, waiting for the house to sell. It's so frustrating to be ready to move on with your life (For a year now) and have to wait on one thing to fall into place.

A couple weeks ago I went ahead and bought a St. Joseph statue. When Joe went to bury the little guy in the ground where we were told to bury it, he couldn't. The reason?? The ground was FROZEN! So we decided to put him into our garage mail box, upside down, facing the street and said a small prayer in hopes that he could help us out.

Joe also tidied up a lot of things outside while Amanda and I were inside painting the Red Room. Man I loved that color and it hurt my heart to paint over it. I know it was for the best (to make the room look larger) but dang it, that was my room. :) After 3 coats of a cream paint, it's back to looking "normal".

Our Realtor had an open house that Sunday, but no one showed up. We're pretty sure it was weather related. It was VERY cold and snowy.

In other news...Joe and I haven't killed each other yet! :) We've been married over 4 months now. Yay! We do get on each others nerves every once in a while, but over all, we are doing great! :)

In April we plan on going to NC with some friends and their family! Jen's cousin (I think that's right) works at a "Dude" Ranch and asked if we wanted to come out. Unfortunately I can't find the link to the place, but it looks like a LOT of fun. Horseback ridding in the Mountains! YAY! April...hurry up and get here!

BTW...I have some awesome friends! (These are from Jenny's Bach Party!) YAY Alley Cat!

Lastly, My cat Harley Bling'd out!

That is all for now...

Aw - just hang in there! I know it's frustrating to sit on a house. We did that with an investment property back in '07. Just wait for spring to roll around - that's when everyone gets antsy. The rates are so low right now, too!
